Library Board Trustee Vacancy

The Library Board of Trustees is accepting applications from interested individuals to fill a vacant position on the board.

The Board of Trustees of the Dorothy Hull Library – Windsor Charter Township is seeking individuals interested in filling the remainder of a term on the Library’s Board. One individual will be appointed as soon as possible to fill a non-paid, non-partisan Library Trustee serving until the end of 2020. This appointee may if they so choose run as an incumbent for either a 2-or 4-year term in the General Election in November of 2020.

Library trustees oversee the operation of the library. They set by-laws, policies, rules and regulations of the library and appoint and evaluate the director. Library trustees set the annual budget and control expenditures. They act in the public interest in providing the best possible library services to the community.

Interested individuals must be residents of Windsor Township and should address a letter of interest to President Richard Robbins at the library, 405 W. Jefferson, Dimondale, MI 48821 or by email at rrobbi@sbcglobal.net.
