The DHL Seed Library

We have a seed library in our Local History section! The seed library offers free seeds for people to start, maintain, or expand their gardens. Our seed library is part of the Michigan Seed Library Network, which has a handy map of all the seed libraries in Michigan. They say "seeds are one of the world’s most valuable resources in sustaining plant biodiversity, preserving cultural heritage, and feeding communities across the globe." 

The seeds in our library come from generous patrons who are willing to share extra seeds, donations from local businesses, seed swaps with other libraries, and the annual seed given out by the MI Seed Library Network. Together, we grow!

The DHL Puzzle Library

Did you know we have so many awesome puzzlers in our community? People who puzzle are the heart of our puzzle library, which is a free exchange of puzzles. Anyone is welcome to take a puzzle, or two, or three, and there is no obligation to bring it back. Puzzles are not checked out to your library card. You can also add puzzles to the puzzle library, we only ask to not include puzzles with missing pieces.
