The library holds a variety of materials for all ages, including books, audiobooks, movies, eBooks and eAudiobooks.

Other Services

  • Four computers are available for public use.
  • Fax Machine ($0.20 per page to receive, $1.00 per page to send) Staff must fax all materials and patron confidentiality and privacy will be maintained.
  • Printing and copying ($0.20 per page single sided, $0.40 per page double sided).
  • Notary services are available during business hours. There is no charge for notary services.
  • Test proctoring is available by advance appointment during open hours by contacting the library.

The Copyright Law of 1976 (United States Code, Title 17) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction [including that made by electronic transmission of reserve material] for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

Board of Trustees Vacancy:

The Board of Trustees of the Dorothy Hull Library -- Windsor Charter Township is seeking individuals interested in filling the remainder of a term on the Library's Board. One individual will be appointed as soon as possible to fill a non-paid, non-partisan Library Trustee serving until the end of 2020. This appointee may, if they so choose, run as an incumbent for either a 2- or 4-year term in the General Election in November of 2020.

Library trustees oversee the operation of the library. They set by-laws, policies, rules and regulations of the library and appoint and evaluate the director. Library trustees set the annual budget and control expenditures. They act in the public interest in providing the best possible library services to the community.

Interested individuals must be residents of Windsor Township and should address a letter of interest to President Richard Robbins at the library, 405 W. Jefferson, Dimondale, MI 48821 or by email at rrobbi@sbcglobal.net.
