Libby, the library reading app

Your library card grants you access to Libby, an awesome website or app where you can access eBooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines for free! All you need to create an account on Libby is your library card number, name, and our Library's name. This "Getting Started" guide from Libby is a useful tool to create your account.

If you'd like to sign up for a library card in order to use Libby, you can sign up online or in-person at the library.

Getting More from Libby:

The Dorothy Hull Library has partnered with other libraries across Michigan which allows you to borrow titles from other libraries.

To add your card for a partner library on the Libby app:

  1. Go to MENU > Add Library (you may have to scroll down a bit)
  2. Search for the partner library and open it.
  3. Tap Sign In With My Card.
  4. Under “Partner Libraries,” choose your home library (WDL - Dorothy Hull Library) from the list and sign in, using your card number.
